With our years of experience we feel confident that AJC Transport will take the stress out of your move. From your first point of contact with us, we aim to listen to your own particular needs and provide the service you deserve.

When you have accepted our quote, we will forward you confirmation in writing either by email or post. Should you decide at a later date to make changes to your booking we will happily accommodate your requirements. For example, you may decide that you’d also like a car or motorbike transporting along with your furniture. We are happy to offer discounts on cars if transporting with the rest of your belongings.

On the day of collection, you’ll meet our men! They will endeavour to pack and load your goods as efficiently as possible. Nothing is too much trouble. Whilst we are not insured to carry out tasks such as removing electrical items, please ask if you have any special requirements such as taking beds apart. Your goods will all be listed onto an inventory sheet which is checked and signed off by our driver and yourself at both ends.

Once your goods are loaded onto one of our vehicles, they will be delivered back to our depot in Essex, where they will either be stored for you or loaded onto one of our trailers ready for shipment. Our trailers are specially fitted with locking bars to give extra protection. With this loading method we can ensure that nothing moves once in transit.

Your goods will be booked in for delivery and you will be given a delivery time slot. We normally try to offer deliver times within 1-2 hours so that you are not waiting around all day.

Please let us know about any access restrictions at either address we are collecting or delivering to. If you live in a street that is particularly narrow or has height restrictions our lorry may not be able to get to you. If we know this information in advance arrangements can be made to transport your goods onto a smaller vehicle.
